Last week's self-storage post was meant to be a one-off, but after rummaging through my own digital storage—hundreds of thousands of files scattered across dozens of hard drives—I found a few more images worth sharing.
Like this storage unit in Flatbush, housed in a former Ebinger's Bakery building that once produced the iconic Brooklyn Blackout Cake: three layers of devil's food cake separated by dark chocolate pudding, covered in chocolate frosting, and sprinkled with chocolate cake crumbs.
